Limerick Weather - Saturday, April 26, 2025

MIST and fog will slowly clear this morning but may linger along parts of the south coast until early evening. It will brighten up elsewhere with sunny spells and isolated showers. However, cloud will gradually increase from the west bringing patchy light rain to western parts during the evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 Celsius but a little cooler where fog lingers. Light to moderate south to southwest winds will freshen near the west coast during the afternoon.

NATIONAL OUTLOOK

Some rain at first but gradually becoming more settled and milder through the rest of the weekend, with plenty of dry and bright weather for early next week.

Becoming cloudy tonight with outbreaks of rain across the southwest, west and north. Lowest temperatures of seven to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds.

Any rain will clear tomorrow morning followed by sunny spells and well scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, but feeling a little chillier in moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Largely dry with clear spells at first and isolated showers tomorrow night. Cloud will build from the west overnight. Lowest temperatures of nine to 12 degrees in moderate southerly winds

After a rather cloudy start, it will brighten up through Monday with hazy spells of sunshine developing. Dry for most but the odd light shower will occur. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate southerly winds easing light later.

Current indications suggest that Tuesday will be a warm and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light to moderate southeast winds.

There is a good deal of uncertainty in the forecast for the rest of next week. Nearby high pressure looks likely to bring plenty of dry weather and mild or warm conditions but some spells of rain or showers cannot be ruled out.
