ANOTHER mostly dry day today, with a few bright or sunny intervals and just the odd patch of drizzle. Mild, with highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees and light southwesterly or variable winds.

NATIONAL OUTLOOK

Some light rain or drizzle at times, though overall a good deal of dry weather with high pressure building.

Continuing mostly dry and cloudy tonight. Temperatures falling to between eight and 12 degrees in light southwesterly or variable breezes, moderate near northern coasts. Mist and fog patches will develop.

Staying mostly dry and mostly cloudy tomorrow with limited sunny spells. Still some patchy light rain and drizzle at times. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with mostly light southwesterly winds, moderate near northern and western coasts.

Cloudy overnight tomorrow with patchy light rain in the northwest. Lowest temperatures of seven to 11 degrees in light southwesterly breezes.

Mostly dry with some sunny spells on Friday. During the evening a band of light rain will begin to push in from the northwest. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresher near northern and western coasts.

Continuing mostly dry and cloudy overnight into the weekend, with some limited clear spells. Lowest temperatures of six to 10 degrees, with light variable breezes, allowing patches of mist and fog to form.

Remaining cloudy and mostly dry through Saturday, with isolated patches of light rain at times. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees, with light southerly breezes.

Current indications suggest that largely dry and rather cloudy conditions will persist through Sunday and the early days of next week.
