TODAY, THURSDAY MAY 11: Some bright or sunny spells at times, but it will be mostly cloudy for a time. Fairly widespread showers, some heavy, with the chance of the odd isolated thunderstorm, mainly in southeastern parts in the afternoon. During the evening the showers will tend to mostly die away with good spells of sunshine to end the day. Breezy, with highest temperatures of 13 to 15 or 16 degrees in fresh and gusty northwest to north winds, stronger at times, especially in western coastal parts.
National Outlook
OVERVIEW: Mostly dry and very mild on Friday and Saturday. Rain and drizzle on Saturday night into Sunday will introduce slightly cooler conditions.
TONIGHT: Isolated showers early in the night but otherwise it will be dry with long clear spells. Patches of mist and fog will develop in light northerly or variable breezes. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
TOMORROW, FRIDAY MAY 12: Mostly dry with sunny spells although isolated showers may develop in the afternoon and early evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with a light northerly breeze.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Dry with long clear spells. Areas of mist and fog will develop in a light and variable breeze. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
