Tommy Barrett's side failed to build on their late win over UCD at the Markets Field a fortnight ago when they were well beaten by a classy Cobh Ramblers outfit last Friday in St Colman's Park, the Cork side running out comfortable 3-0 winners.

Treaty will be looking to put that result behind them when they welcome The Midlanders to the Markets Field this evening.

Athlone currently sit bottom of the First Division table and they have not won a game since May. The last point Ian Ryan's charges picked up was against Treaty back in July, a 2-2 draw in Lissywollen.

Treaty currently sit in fifth place in the First Division, just inside those all important pay-off positions.

A win for Barrett's side would give them some much needed breathing room as the league enters the final five games of the season.

Finn Harps sit just three points adrift of Treaty, with the Donegal side having two games in hand.

With games coming down the line against the likes of Kerry, Bray and Wexford, all away from home, the Limerick-based side should be eyeing up all three points.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
