Sean Russell's side fell to a 2-1 defeat in what was a televised match live on TG4

A healthy crowd was present at the Markets Field last weekend as the Treaty United Women's side took on Shamrock Rovers in the Women's Premier Division. 

Sean Russell's side fell to a 2-1 defeat on the night, a result that leaves them sixth in the table, three points behind their Dublin opponents.

Next up for the Shannonsiders is a Munster derby as they travel to Cork to face Cork City at Turners Cross. Kick off is at 5pm on Saturday evening.
