TREATY United got back to winning days in the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division when Madison McGuane's late goal helped the home side secure a dramatic 3-2 victory over Munster rivals Cork City in front of an attendance of 726 at the Markets Field on Saturday afternoon.
Home side Treaty, who had lost out to Shamrock Rovers in their previous league fixture, took the lead when Mara McCleary fired the home side in front in the 27th minute.
Cork City then equalised in the 63rd minute with a goal from Kiera Sena. The Leesiders were not on level terms for long as Isabella Flocchini latched on to a terrific pass from Ayaka Ikeza to make it 2-1.
Cork then equalised for a second time in the game 10 minutes later when Heidi O'Sullivan scored off a corner.
However, the drama was not over yet and McGuane popped with a precious winner four minutes from full-time.
