TREATY United confirmed in the wake of their final Women's Premier Division fixture of the season on Saturday evening that senior team manager Dominic Foley is departing the role.

Treaty finished the season in seventh spot, their best ever finish in the Women's Premier Division, after a 1-0 win away at 2023 league champions Peamount United on Saturday evening.

Danielle Steer scored the only goal of the game just before half-time for Treaty as the side accumulated 15 more points than the last season's haul which had left them second from bottom.

Following the game, Treaty United manager ans former Republic of Ireland senior international Dominic Foley confirmed the decision to step down from the role. Foley revealed that the decision had been made a couple of weeks ago shortly after the game but first acknowledged another rewarding afternoon for the team.

“We are delighted to finish strong, it is our first win as a club over Peamount which is great for everyone,” he told the Treaty United media team.

Foley added: “I loved it, it’s been a great experience, all because of the players attitude, their willingness to train and work out made it a very enjoyable experience “

CEO of Treaty United Ciara McCormack said: “Under Dom our women’s team became competitive in every game and he’s laid a fantastic foundation from which the women’s team can build on for the future.

"He is an absolutely class individual and we are extremely grateful for his commitment and efforts throughout this year.”

Treaty United will confirm the new Senior Women’s manager in the coming days.
