WATCH: Limerick star Seamus Hickey finally gets to play in Fenway Classic

SEAMUS Hickey is Limerick's longest serving player and this Sunday gets to play in the Fenway Hurling Classic in Boston after years of helping to organise the event.

The Murroe-Boher man is secretary of the Gaelic Players Association, who run the Fenway Classic side-by-side with the GAA.

Hickey has attended the event in recent years but is now preparing to swap the GPA boardroom for the playing pitch when Limerick play Wexford this Sunday.

Hickey is looking forward to getting game time in Fenway Park for the an event, which he feels has far-reaching benefits.
