MONALEEN are the first side to 100% confirm their place in the knockout stages of the Limerick SFC.
The Castletroy side beat previously undefeated Fr Caseys 0-12 to 0-7 this Friday evening in Askeaton.
Elsewhere on Friday, St Patricks moved closer to the knockout stages with a 3-8 to 1-10 win over Dromcollogher-Broadford.
2014 champions Ballylanders drew with Oola, 1-17 to 2-14 but it won’t be enough to save them from playing either Ballysteen or Pallasgreen in the relegation final.
Monaleen built a 0-6 to 0-3 half time lead in their win over their Abbeyfeale opponents.
They saw a second half Ger Collins penalty saved by Sean Scannell but with five points from Evan Quinlan and three from Collins they proved too strong for Fr Caseys.
St Patricks beat Drom-Broadford, despite the west Limerick men getting off to a flying start with a Ray Lynch goal.
But Mike Geary hit back with a goal after 12-minutes for the City side. Wayne Cronin went up from full back to get their second goal to leave it 2-4 to 1-7 at half time.
A Liam Quinn goal was the first score of second half and put St Patricks in the driving seat. With teh returning Gearoid Hegarty dominating and John Mullane points, St Patricks held on for the valuable win.
