Partick Thistle closed the gap on Scottish Championship leaders St Johnstone to five points with a 2-0 win over Raith Rovers.
Ben McPherson gave the visitors the lead just before the break with a finish at the far post and Aidan Fitzpatrick added the gloss with an excellent solo effort in injury time at the end.
That put Mark Wilson’s side on 56 points in second place, cutting Saints’ buffer and stretching their own advantage over Arbroath to nine.
In League Two, Stranraer defeated fellow play-off chasers Clyde 3-1.
Nathan Cannon put the third-placed visitors ahead in the 33rd minute but Lewis Reid levelled just before the interval. Evan Dunne and Deryn Lang then scored in the second half to secure victory.
They remain level on points with Elgin City and just one better off on goal difference after the latter’s 2-0 win over Forfar.
After a first-half stalemate substitute Kane Hester put the hosts ahead, with Alasdair Spalding making it safe.
