Jack Oliver starts at scrum-half for the Munster 'A' side against an All-Ireland League Select XV in a charity game at Takumi Park, Rosbrien this Friday night, 7.30pm
THE teams for Friday’s charity match between Munster 'A' and an All-Ireland League Select XV at Old Crescent RFC's Takumi Park ground in Rosbrien have been named (7.30pm).
The Munster 'A' side includes a mix of Senior, Academy, NTS and PTS players, while the AIL Select XV is made up of players from senior clubs throughout the north of the province.
It is hoped that a similar fixture will take place at the start of next season which will involve players from senior clubs in the south of the province.
There will also be a charity element to this Friday’s match which will see full proceeds going to Milford Care Centre, Parkinson’s Association, Limerick Search & Rescue, Daughters of Charity Lisnagry, Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Redemptorist Christmas Poor Campaign.
Admission is €10 and children go free. Please give as generously as you can.
The Munster 'A' side will be coached by Elite Player Development Officers Tommy O’Donnell and Aiden McNulty and Provincial Talent Coach Seán Cronin.
