PIKE ROVERS advanced to the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup after a win on penalties over Mayo's Castlebar Celtic at Crossagalla on Sunday.
The sides were deadlocked at 2-2 at the end of extra-time and it was the Limerick side that came out on top when goalkeeper Gary Neville landed the winning penalty that saw them home on an 8-7 scoreline in the shoot-out.
Photographer Brendan Gleeson was on hand to capture all the colour and action of the day for the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live as Pike got the upper hand on their Mayo visitors.
