BALLYKISTEEN
Inter Club: Last week we had two of our teams out representing Ballykisteen GC. Firstly our Fred Perry team traveled to Dromoland GC last Friday afternoon to take on the home team. Despite playing in very difficult weather conditions we recorded a great victory on a score of 3-2.
Congratulations to our team who now go on to play Dooks GC in the Munster West Final at the neutral venue of East Clare GC on Saturday 26th July at 12pm. A special word of thanks to the manager Ger Finnan for all of his efforts and commitment. Then on Saturday our Senior Cup team traveled to Kilrush GC to play Dooks GC. The lads put in a great effort but just came up short on a score of 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 . Again we would like to thank the team and manager Owen O'Keeffe for their efforts.
