TREATY UNITED youngster and former Fairview Rangers player, Chloe Wallace, has been nominated for an FAI International Award.

Wallace has been nominated for the U15 school girls International Player-of-the-Year award alongside two other nominees Ella Kelly and Abigail Bradshaw, both from Dublin. The award ceremony takes place on Tuesday, June 20 in the Round Room in the Mansion House.

Chloe began her soccer career in the Fairview club before moving on to play for Treaty Utd. The talented centre-back signed with Treaty in January 2023 and immediately joined their U17 Academy squad.

The Coláiste Nano Nagle student got her first taste of International action in March where she captained the Republic of Ireland U15 Schools side to a one-all draw with Northern Ireland.

She was then chosen on the Republic of Ireland U15 squad for the Bob Docherty Cup which took place in Glasgow in April.

Chloe was also part of the Limerick Desmond U13 Gaynor Cup squad and captained the North Munster Schools team in their interprovincial tournament where Chloe received player of the match in their opening game back in 2021.

Since then, her playing career has gone from strength to strength with this nomination a sign of Chloe’s talent with more international caps to come in the future.

"All at Treaty United FC are delighted with the recent news of Chloe Wallace getting nominated for an FAI international award, U15 girls schools international Player of the Year," Treaty United U17 manager, and former Irish international, Marie Curtin, told Leader Sport.

"This is a huge honour, and something that does not come around often. She will be rubbing shoulders with the best of the best of Irish footballing talent in the country (men's and women's) on the night.

"She deserves the nomination with stand out performances during the last interprovincial tournament with Munster and performances during the International Bob Docherty Cup with Ireland U15 girls team which she captained.

"Chloe is one to watch for the future and has a big career ahead of her. At 14 years of age, she has already represented Ireland at u15 and u16 level.

"Chloe is a talented centre back who reads the game exceptionally well despite her young age. Chloe excels in her distribution of the football as well as aerially.

"A credit to her former club, Fairview Rangers where she had the opportunity to develop until January 2023 when she signed to Treaty United U17 girls academy. Special mention also to her school, Coláiste Nano Nagle whom she represents."
