NEWCASTLE West's Claire O'Riordan could land a Scottish league title to the trophy cabinet as the season goes down to the wire for her Glasgow Celtic side on Saturday afternoon.
Celtic face Hearts in a must win game while the two sides above them, Glasgow City and Rangers, face off in their top of the table clash.
A number of permutations could see O'Riordan's side lift the title on the evening but if Celtic win by two goals and the Glasgow v Rangers game finishes as a draw, the Hoops would be crowned champions.
O'Riordan hit the target twice last weekend to keep Celtic's hopes of winning the league alive as they saw off Hibs on a 2-1 scoreline.
The Limerick native has enjoyed her first season in the Scottish capital following her move from German club MSV Duisburg. O'Riordan spent five years in Germany before her move to Celtic. She began her career at Wexford Youths and won three league titles with the club before the move to Duisburg.
It's a busy time for O'Riordan as she is also aim to land a spot in the Ireland squad for the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand during the summer.
She recently travelled to the US for the two friendly games as part of Vera Pauw's squad and is hoping to make the trip as part of the travelling Irish party for their first appearance in the World Cup that begins in July.
