THE knock-out stage fixtures in the Munster Schools Junior Cup begin today, Wednesday, with five Limerick sides all in action in fixtures.

During the first half of this season, schools from throughout the province played in a round-robin format in two groups to determine their seeding for the knockout stages which begin this week.

The busy schedule of fixtures in the Junior Cup begin this Wednesday, February 1, with a double header of games taking place at Thomond Park.

That game is followed by the meeting of Crescent College Comprehensive and CBC, of Cork, at 3pm. CBC had defeated Bandon Grammar School 33-12 last week in the previous round.

The action contines on Thursday with a second Limerick derby in the Junior Cup. St Munchin's College take on local rivals Castletroy College at 1pm.

Meanwhile, the fixture details for the Pinergy Munster Schools Senior Cup have been confirmed.
