The Big Day Out: Bringing back Limerick’s classic nightclubs!

Encore Une Fois! The Big Day Out, Ireland’s 90s & 00s festival, has just announced more acts and performances to join the already stacked pop party, taking place at the TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Saturday, August 23.

The already announced Peter Andre, Heather Small (the voice of M-People), DJ Sash!, Ultrabeat, Whigfield and Mark Mc Cabe will be joined by even more legendary DJs, chart-topping dance acts and the day will also mark the return of some of Limerick’s greatest club nights! 

Get ready to relive the classic days of when Limerick dancefloors were packed 7 nights a week as DJ sets from iconic clubs Trinity Rooms, Soul Clinic, Docs, and Strictly Rhythm will be in the '30something?' area!  

Back in Limerick for the first time in 25 years is one of the biggest names in 90s dance music, legendary DJ Tall Paul.

Known for his iconic remixing of INXS’ ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ and The Ministry of Sound’s Annuals, Tall Paul will be rocking the dance floor with his number one singles ‘Rok Da House’ and ‘Let Me Show You!'

N-Trance return to Limerick for the second year in a row after playing a storming set at the 2024 edition of Big Day Out! So, wave your arms in the air and be upstanding for one of the most iconic dance acts of the 90s.

With worldwide hits such as ‘Stayin’ Alive’, ‘Set You Free’, ‘Forever’ and ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy’ and over 6 million record sales, it’s not surprising that N-Trance have cemented themselves as one of the most in demand bands on the festival circuit. 

Homegrown talent comes from DJ Al Gibbs, who will be playing an exclusive set celebrating the 20th anniversary of 'Ireland Euphoria', the biggest selling Irish dance music album ever!
