Excitement is building at Cistercian College Roscrea (www.ccr.ie) as the Midlands-based secondary school, offering day, 5 day and 7 day boarding, hosts an ‘Open Evening and Overnight Experience’ for prospective students and their families, from 3pm on Friday, September 27.
The event has attracted widespread interest, with students considering enrolment for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years pre-registering online in advance.
The College President, Colm Maloney is looking forward to welcoming families for a unique insight into daily life at one of Ireland’s leading secondary schools.
“For our upcoming ‘Open Evening Experience’ event along with overnight experience, we’re really looking forward to welcoming all interested students and their parents for a fantastic viewing of the College and campus. Cistercian College is a unique place to learn, develop and grow.
The evening will include a guided tour of the College,s led by our very proud current students and staff, to include group activities showcasing the Cistercian College, as well as providing an evening meal and refreshments for all guests in the College refectory.”
Those students interested in boarding can avail of the overnight experience and immerse themselves in the life of a boarder at Cistercian College.
