THERE is a Limerick derby in the FAI Youth Inter League Munster Region semi-final on Wednesday evening.

The November 19 tie at Jackman Park pits the Limerick District League against the Limerick Desmond League.
It’s always hard at this stage of the season to compare the relative strengths and weaknesses from the competing leagues but there is no doubt of the talent assembled in the LDL squad.

A number of players, Jack Croke and Joe Murphy of Pike and Mike Omojoefodun of Fairview are regular features in their clubs Premier sides while others line out with their B and C teams.  
This game has a 7.30 kick off and deserve a good turnout to offer support.
The Limerick District squad reads; Sam Casey, Eoin Williams, Cian O’haoda, Ben Kiely, Cian Finucane, Oscar Fitzgerald (Aisling), Dion Begley, Dave Lynch, Thomas Curran, Darren Keogh, Zac McInerney, Daniel Zwiegala, Mike Omojoefodun, Chad Molloy (Fairview Rgs), Josh Wormald, Jack Croke, Jack Meaney, Sean Downes, Oisin Healy, Joe Murphy, Colin Strachan, Cathal McNamara (Pike Rvs), Rory Hanley, Michael Hanley (Holycross).
