Their reward for their resounding 43-12 victory in Thomond Park is a date with Presentation Brothers College of Cork.
The city-based school got off to the perfect start when fly-half Brian Halley's beautiful cross field kick found Wiktor Kosecki to touch down, Halley converted and Castletroy were up and running after two minutes.
Kosecki touched down for a second try four minutes later and with Halley unable to convert the conversion from an acute angle, the score remained 12-0.
Glenstal were able to take advantage of a temporary numerical advantage following a sin-binning and Donnacha Burtwell touched down for his side. Senan Rowan converted and the sides were left at 12-7 after 12 minutes.
Castletroy managed to score two tries before the interval via Tom Cuneen and Paddy O'Connell which left the score at 24-7 in favour of Castletroy heading in at the break.
It took the city side just four minutes to register their first try of the second period when Paudie Quilter touched down.
This was followed up minutes later by a Henry Duggan try, which Aaron Fitzgerald converted to give Castletroy a 36-7 lead after 38 minutes.
To Glenstal's credit, they never gave in and managed to register a try via Ethan Henry late on.
However, it was to be Castletroy who would have the final say on proceedings when Donnacha O'Brien touched down with time already up. Halley converted and referee Ian Coll sounded for full-time with Castletroy running out 43-12 winners.
