MORE than 48,000 rugby fans turned out at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening for the mouth-watering meeting of great rivals Leinster Rugby and Munster Rugby in a URC interprovincial derby.
After a hard fought fixture, Leinster claimed the win on a 21-16 scoreline. However, Munster did secure a precious losing bonus point in defeat.
The provincial rivals will go head-to-head in the return fixture at Thomond Park on St Stephen's Day, 7.35pm.
