Three men remain in custody over attempted murder of woman in Clondalkin

Three men arrested on suspicion of an attempted murder in Dublin in November last year remain in custody.

The serious assault of a woman aged in her 40s took place in Clondalkin on Tuesday November 25.

Gardai said the woman, Alexis Campion, is still in hospital; she had received treatment for burn injuries at the time of the attack.

Three men – an adult teenager and two aged in their 30s – were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday morning and remain in custody.

Gardai also said 100 members were involved in a “high intensity” policing operation that included the search of 19 properties in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot.

A number of items such as drugs worth an estimated 2,000 euro, including cocaine, cannabis herb and cannabis resin was found, they said.

Two e-scooters and 13 electronic devices were also seized, gardai said.

A family liaison officer is updating Ms Campion and her family on the investigation.

Gardai said in a statement: “An Garda Siochana continues to appeal to any persons who were in the Oak Downs area of Clondalkin on Tuesday November 25 2025 between 9.30am and 10.20am and/or who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardai.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Clondalkin garda station on (01) 666 7600, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.”
