A man who was arrested after another man in his 20s died following an assault in Dublin on Saturday has been released without charge, Gardai have said.
In a statement, they said the man in his 20s was released on Monday and investigations are ongoing.
On Sunday, An Garda Siochana said the man died following an incident in the Tyrrelstown area of Dublin 15.
They said they were called to reports of a disturbance at around 10.30pm on Saturday night involving a group of individuals.
When they arrived the group dispersed, but shortly afterwards a man arrived at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The Gardai said they are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
