The Irish presenter has been hosting the BBC chat show since 2007

The BBC and Graham Norton have agreed a new deal to produce three more seasons of his successful chat show which has become a cornerstone of Friday night television.  

The Irish comedian and presenter's chat show is still massively popular and continues to attract the biggest names in the world of entertainment despite entering it's 34th season which is set to air in 2026. 

The BBC have revealed that the latest season of the show averaged ratings of 2.9 million people cementing its place as the top chat show in the market. 

The latest episode of the hit-show welcomed global superstar Taylor Swift as well as Irish actors Cillian Murphy and Domhnall Gleeson to the red couch.

The Graham Norton Show has been a mainstay for the BBC since 2007 winning multiple BAFTA's and National Television Awards during its run.

Speaking on the announcement of the deal, Norton said: "Getting to host my own chat show is a huge pleasure as well as a privilege. I’m thrilled that the BBC are allowing me to continue for another three years.

He continued: "The whole team is looking forward to bringing the world’s brightest stars into the homes of the great British public!".

BBC's Head of Entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight explained: “We are thrilled that The Graham Norton Show will remain a flagship part of the BBC’s entertainment offering for another three series.

Patel-Knight heaped praise on the former 'Father Ted' actor saying: "Graham sets the gold standard for celebrity interviews and continues to attract the best global talent to his sofa, it’s no wonder that the show remains so beloved by our audiences.”

The Graham Norton Show will continue each Friday night on BBC One and BBC iPlayer before entering into its new three-year deal in 2026.
