Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was left in a critical condition following a serious assault at a licensed premises on Eden Quay in Dublin city centre.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Sunday night, 21 September. The male juvenile, understood to be in his teens, was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination, which has since been completed.

Gardaí at Store Street are urging anyone who may have information or video footage to come forward. They can be contacted directly on (01) 666 8000, through the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or at any Garda station.

Investigations are continuing.
