Food Safety Authority Recall

A batch of chocolate covered raisins has been recalled in stores across the country due to the detection of an allergen.

The food recall was announced by the Food Safety Authority on Thursday, 18 September 2025.

The allergen detected by the Food Safety Authority was Casein (milk protein) which was found in a batch of Bare Pantry Dark Chocolate Jumbo Raisins.

Milk is not declared on the list of ingredients.

This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk and therefore, these consumers should not eat the implicated batch, the warning by FSAI said.

The affected batch is being recalled:

pack size: 170 g
Batch Code 110625; best before date: 11/02/2026
