When will the rain stop?
Met Eireann has issued a weather update as heavy rain and thunderstorms are set to hit parts of the country ahead of the weekend.
A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo with possible flooding and difficult driving conditions.
The status yellow weather warning was issued on Thursday September 11 and warns of spells of heavy rain with "a chance of isolated thunderstorms".
Met Eireann has said that the status yellow warning is due until 10:00am on Friday September 12.
