Have you checked your Lotto ticket? It could be worth more that €17m
The National Lottery has revealed that there was one winner of Wednesday's Lotto draw and the the lucky player is soon to one of Ireland's richest people.
The jackpot, which is understood to be the third highest ever won in Ireland, was worth over a whopping €17 million.
It is currently not known where in the country the winning ticket was sold - so have you checked your Lotto ticket?

The winning numbers were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 36 and the Lotto plus bonus number was 5.

The total jackpot was a massive €17,008,295.
This will be Ireland's seventh jackpot Lotto winner of 2025.
The National Lottery has yet to confirm where the winning ticket was won but are expected to do so later today, Thursday August 28.
Previously, the highest ever Lotto jackpot was won by a family syndicate in County Mayo in January 2022. That prize was over €19 million.
The second highest ever was won in June 2008 in County Carlow - a prize of over €18 million.
