ALERT: Gardaí renew appeal for missing man last seen in Cork over two years ago

Gardaí and John's family are very concerned for his welfare

Gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of John Keaveney. 

The 43-year-old went missing from the McCurtain Street area of Cork city over two years ago now on August 21, 2023. The father-of-three vanished between midnight and 12:30am. 

John is described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build. He is bald and has brown eyes.

The last sighting of John was walking down toward the Centre Park Road/Marina Area of Cork city. He was wearing a pair of navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie with the Irish soccer logo and white runners, as seen in the photograph provided by An Garda Síochána. 

Gardaí and John's family are very concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 452 2000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
