Instagram star suffers nasty injury during charity match
Daragh Curran, an Irish social media influencer, attended a charity football match recently and suffered a nasty injury.
Daragh, a.k.a 'The Guinness Guru' has amassed over 150,000 followers on Instagram to which he shared pictures of the incident.
Daragh shared a video of him falling into a railing at the Peil Football Charity Game and said: "The railing was asking for it!! Great day yesterday at the @peil_fcg charity game for @archiesarmy2025, hopefully my fall provided more entertainment than my football skills".
Daragh said the first half of the game was "going pretty well...nothing special...made a couple of clearances....".
He then said that by the second half he got greedy and made a barnstorming run.
"Unfortunately short-distance pace is definitely not my strong point".
Daragh said that he was a "big stubborn...ogre" and wouldn't let the ball go off side. Instead he wrestled tooth and nail for the ball but was met with a lovely metal railing instead.

The charity match was in honour of Archie's Army which supports and raises funds for seven-year-old Archie Ennis, who has been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
