A man in his 30s was pronounced dead in hospital following a tragic e-scooter crash in Dublin.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Old Navan Road in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 on Sunday 3rd August 2025.
The collision involved an e-scooter and a car and occurred at around 10:50pm.
The driver of the e-scooter, a man in his 30s, was removed from the scene to James Connolly Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No other injuries have been reported at the time and the road was closed for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 10:40pm and 11:00pm, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
