Gardaí arrest man (20s) in connection to series of accommodation fraud
A man in his 20s was arrested on Friday, 9 May in connection with multiple reports of accommodation fraud in the South Dublin area late last year.
The alleged incidents of fraud reported by the injured parties are believed to have occurred over September and October 2024.
Gardaí from the Serious Crime Unit in Irishtown arrested the man on Friday and he was detained for questioning at a Garda Station in the Eastern Region.
He has since been released from Garda custody while a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
No further information is available at this time as gardaí say investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
