Faulty product recalled amid 'electrical shock' warning
A product has been recalled on April 23 2025 following a report to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) due to the danger of electric shock.
A safety issue has been identified with an LED UV Nail Lamp sold by the AliExpress platform and 23 of these affected products were sold in Ireland.
The products were recalled "due to inadequate circuit design and the user can access live parts and receive an electric shock," according to CCPC.
The brand is SUNone and the AliExpress Product ID is 1005006072000368.

If you purchased one of these products, please stop use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children, CCPC warn.
