Gardaí in Navan were on patrol in Navan as part of the Easter Bank Holiday Road Safety operation, and caught a driver doing 40km/h over the speed limit and with a positive cocaine test.
The driver was arrested and has their day in court to follow.
The Gardaí posted about the incident on their official Twitter account.

The tweet from An Garda Síochána Twitter account and it reads:
We were out on patrol this morning in Navan as part of the Easter Bank Holiday Road Safety operation when we detected this van travelling at 100km/h in a 60km/h area.
We stopped them and the driver tested positive for cocaine.
They were arrested. Court to follow.
