'Enough is enough' Outrage over zebra pictured inside Irish pub at horse fair

Social media users are outraged after images have been released of a zebra in a County Clare pub. These images come after the most recent Ennistymon Horse Fair and social media users are shocked about the incident involving the "poor zebra".

A horse rescue page called 'My Lovely Horse Rescue' on Facebook, who has a large following of over 100,000 followers are urging locals to email, and phone local TDs and government over the incident.

The post on their Facebook account reads:

"ENNISTYMON HORSE FAIR
Co. Clare at the horse fair .
A poor zebra…there’s enough cruelty in this country without adding another poor animal to the mix 
Pony and zebra in a local bar!!!! An Garda Síochána Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine
Wouldn’t take much to find out the owner of this establishment!!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH 
Email, phone, local TDs and government
Ireland has become a shameful animal cruelty country"

Comments under the post echo the sentiment of the horse recue page with users writing under the post:

"Absolutely shocking. How or where do you get a zebra and it looks like a baby too. Poor animals."

Another reads:

"Omg what are they doing with a wild animal it's a baby zebra for God sake. How are they even allowed this? That's heartbreaking"

A third user also writes:

"Absolutely disgusting. Poor wee zebra and pony."
