Gardaí in Swords while conducting speed checks they caught a driver driving 101kmh in a 50kmh zone.

The driver will face his day in court in front of a judge and to make matters even worse it was near a school.

The Gardaí posted about the incident on their official Twitter account.

The tweet from An Garda Síochána Twitter account and it reads:

We were out this morning carrying out speed checks in Swords when we caught this car travelling at 101km/h in a 50km/h area near a school.

They were stopped and the driver can look forward to explaining themselves to a judge on their day in court.
