Gardaí in Roscommon stop learner driver with no L plates going almost double the limit

Gardaí in Roscommon conducting a checkpoint caught a learner driver with no L plates and no accompanying driver going 109kmh in 60kmh zone.

The checkpoint was conducted in Lisacul in Roscommon and the An Garda Síochána official Twitter account, they issued a number of fines and also spotted this driver.

The tweet from An Garda Síochána Twitter account and it reads:

Roscommon RPU were conducting a checkpoint in Lisacul Roscommon. They issued a number of lifesaver fixed charge notices, including this Learner driver travelling at 109kmh in a 60 kmh zone. Driver had no L Plates displayed or no qualified driver accompanying them.
