Two firearms and drugs discovered in Dublin amid search operation
Gardaí in Dublin discovered two fire arms, cocaine and diamorphine, during a operation in Dublin 15 on Wednesday 12th February 2025.
The search operation was conducted on wasteland in Corduff as part of ongoing investigations into organised criminal activity in the Dublin 15 area.
During the course of the search, two revolver firearms were discovered wrapped in plastic.
A large package of Diamorphine with an estimated street value of €30,000 was also found along with approximately €3,000 worth of suspected cocaine.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit and Serious Crime Unit in the DMR West were assisted by the DMR West Task Force during the course of this operation.

The drugs are subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) and the firearms will be subject to a technical examination by the Ballistics Section of the Garda Technical Bureau.
Investigations are ongoing.
