MISSING: Boy (14) who travelled to Dublin with a back-pack reported missing

Aidan McKenna is reported missing from his home in Monaghan

14-year-old Aidan McKenna has been reported missing from his home in Castleshane, Co. Monaghan since Tuesday morning, 28th January 2025.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing his whereabouts.

Aidan is described as being 5 foot 6 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Aidan was wearing a black puffer jacket, black trousers and white/green Nike runners.

He was carrying a backpack and Gardaí said it is believed that Aidan intended on travelling up to Dublin.

Gardaí and Aidan's family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with any information on Aidan's whereabouts is asked to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
