Irish Rail has issued an update to it's services following major power outages across the country which disrupted it's services during Storm Éowyn.
On Monday 27th January, all Irish Rail services will operate EXCEPT:
Westport/Ballina to Heuston
Bus transfers are operating between Westport/Ballina and Athlone, with train between Athlone and Heuston due to cancelled services.
This is due to major ESB power outages from Storm Éowyn, affecting the operation of dozens of automatic level crossings, Irish Rail said.
Delays may result due to bus transfer journey times.
