Storm Éowyn tore through the country last night, and well into this morning, as fire brigades, and gardaí prepare to fix the damage left in it's wake.
Dolphin's Barn firefighter crews were called in early this morning after reports that scaffolding had collapsed, leaving Harold's Cross Road in Dublin completely blocked off.
Not long after attending this scene, Dolphin's Barn were called again, this time with the help of Donnybrook fire station, as an oil leak was confirmed near the River Dodder after a fallen tree had ruptured a tank.
Taking to social media, Dublin Fire Brigade commented on this ongoing issue, saying "Crews used drain blockers and dams to contain the spill and are awaiting the assistance of ESB Networks."
