LIVE: Four more arrested in connection with death of Wicklow man

Gardaí in Bray, Co. Wicklow have carried carried out seven searches under warrant and arrested a further four males in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of a man in his 30's on January 19.

Gardaí have today, Tuesday 21st January 2025, arrested a male juvenile, two men aged in their 20’s, and one in his 30’s in connection with this investigation.

The four arrests come after two individuals, both males aged in their 20s and 40s, were arrested for serious offences under the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994 yesterday evening, Monday January 20.

All six arrested are currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at Garda Stations in the Wexford / Wicklow Division.

The Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (GNBCI) is assisting with this investigation.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place by the State Pathologist, Dr. Sally Anne Collis at the morgue in Whitehall, Dublin. Results of the post-mortem will assist investigating Gardaí in determining the course of this investigation.
