Gardaí would like to thank the public and media for assisting them with this appeal.

A 16 year old girl who went missing from her home in Dublin has been located "safe and well."

Kaitlin Daly was reported missing from Sherrard Street in Dublin 1 on Wednesday, January 15, with the teenager being last seen at approximately 7:30pm on Dorset Street.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that Kaitlin had been found on Sunday, January 19. 

Gardaí would like to thank the public and media for assisting them with this appeal.

No further action is required.
