Carl Adams, 58
Following a discovery of a body of a male in Co Laois earlier this evening, May 30, 2024, gardaí have confirmed the missing person appeal for Carl Adams has been stood down.
Carl was described as approximately 5'9" in height, with a stocky build, dark grey hair, and brown eyes and has been missing from Portlaoise since this Wednesday, May 29.
Carl was last seen in Killenard near Portarlington at approximately 8am this Wednesday, and was driving a silver Ford S-Max with an 08DL registration.
His family and gardaí were anxious to make contact with him.
A spokesperson for the gardaí said: "An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance."
