On National Slow Down Day gardaí were out in full swing to conducting speeding checks this Friday.
While conducting a speed check in Wexford, the Roads Policing Unit stopped a disqualified driver and proceeded to test the motorist for drugs.
As a result, the driver also failed a roadside test for driving under the influence of drugs.
It turns out National Slow Down Day wasn't just about speed detections
