One lucky Lotto player won the biggest jackpot on Wednesday night's draw of €120,437.
A Lotto player in Dublin became the biggest winner of the night after matching five numbers and the bonus to win the €120k prize.
The winning ticket was purchased on Friday, March 1 at the Londis Racecourse Foodhall at Phoenix Park Way, Phoenix Park Racecourse in Castleknock, Dublin 15.
Shop owner John Gillen said: “We’re a busy shop located in the heart of a residential area here in the Phoenix Park so the winner could be someone nearby or maybe even a passerby!
“Winning over €120,000 on a Wednesday night sure is one way to get through the hump day and get ready for the weekend.
“Here’s hoping the winner has realised their good luck. We wish the winner all the very best and hope they enjoy their big win,” he said.
The winning numbers in the Wednesday, March 6 Lotto draw were: 03, 07, 10, 13, 17, 38 and the bonus was 46.
The Castleknock winner, who now has a ticket worth €120,437, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
While Wednesday night’s Lotto draw saw over 68,000 players win prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games, there was no outright winner of the €3,746,227 jackpot on offer.
This Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €4.2m.
