US talk show host Conan O'Brien was spotted in an Irish village, tracing his family's roots.
The comedian and former late night talk show host is in Ireland reportedly filming an episode of his travel show, Conan Without Borders,
He took the time on Wednesday, January 10, to visit the village of Galbally in county Limerick in search of his family's history.
In a video on the Galbally Community Facebook page, Conan said that he was in the village to trace his heritage.
The television personality explained that his great-grandfather hailed from the village and left in the 1870s.
Local man Jim Fitzgerald chatted with the 60 year-old and took him to visit his ancestral home
"This is where it all started and now I am back which is very exciting", Conan said.
The writer and producer joked that it was "amazing" to come back to the village but "the only awkward thing is Jim's hand is resting firmly on my ass".
The pair shared a laugh as they spoke about his visit and the history of the village.
Conan also posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was working with Limerick Genealogy to trace his roots while in the county.
Earlier in the week the former Saturday Night Live writer was spotted alongside a camera crew in Dublin, as well as in Loughrea in Galway.
