Learner driver to face court, as gardaí seize dangerous car

Black-out windows and bald tyres were just some defects of the vehicle

AN UNACCOMPANIED learner driver had their car seized by gardaí, as the vehicle had a number of dangerous defects. 

The Delvin Roads Policing Unit, Westmeath, stopped a car with a list of defects, including: bald tyres, stretched rims, modified suspension, black-out windows and a modified exhaust.

The car was seized there and then and upon further inspection, it was found that the driver was unqualified. 

Gardaí have confirmed that a court case is to follow.
