Annual 'throwback party' concert returns to Limerick stadium

Peter Andre leads the line-up for next year's event

THE BIG Day Out returns with a lineup of some of “the biggest names of the 90s and 00s” for a stadium show at TUS Gaelic Grounds next year.

Leading the line-up is “chart-topping Aussie heartthrob and pop culture icon”, Peter Andre.

The singer’s career has spanned nearly 30 years, with his set for the Big Day Out including performances of his hits, such as Mysterious Girl, Flava and lots more!

Whigfield’s performance at Big Day Out will be a ‘Saturday Night’ to remember as she performs an exclusive Irish show with her hits.

The audience can expect Sexy Eyes and Think of You as she takes fans on a trip to the 90s!

Big Day Out will have some of “the biggest floor fillers” from the 90s with Sash! promising to tear up the main stage with hit songs including Encore Une Fois and Ecuador.

Joining him on the lineup is Ultrabeat, whose No 1 hit Pretty Green Eyes is “a stone-cold Irish classic”.

From Moving On Up to Don’t Look any Further and of course One Night in Heaven, Heather Small’s voice was “at the heart of M-People’s biggest hits” and she remains “one of most iconic voices of the 90s”, so crowds should get ready to dance ‘til late to the sound of summer 2025.

Big Day Out will be MCed by the legendary Mark Mc Cabe, with the audience potentially getting treated to an exclusive performance of No 1 hit Maniac 2000.

“With more acts to be announced, the return of the Silent Disco, a brand-new site layout with new areas, more bars and more loos (!), The Big Day Out is your essential throwback party of the summer,” a spokesperson for the event said.

The concert will take place on Saturday August 23rd 2025.

Tickets, priced from €64.90 including booking fee, will be going on sale this Friday, October 25 at 9am on Ticketmaster.ie.
