MUNSTER Rugby will look to complete a rare home-and-away double over arch rivals Leinster in the United Rugby Championship this season when hosting Leo Cullen's side at Thomond Park this Saturday evening, December 27, 7.45pm.

Second-placed Munster will be seeking to complete a regular season double over the visitors for the first time since the 2014/2015 season following their impressive 31-14 victory over Leinster at Croke Park in October.

Saturday evening's game is live on Premier Sports 1. The big Christmas derby fixture in Limerick is sold-out with all tickets snapped up weeks ago. Gates will open at 5:45pm to facilitate access to the stadium.

Clayton McMillan's Munster side will be looking to end a six-game losing run to Leinster at Thomond Park in Saturday evening's game.

In team news for Munster, there are seven changes to the side that secured a bonus-point win against Ospreys in Wales on Saturday last.

Captain Tadhg Beirne, Thaakir Abrahams, Craig Casey, Michael Milne, Lee Barron, Edwin Edogbo and Tom Ahern all come into the starting XV. There are two positional changes as Shane Daly moves to full-back and Jack O’Donoghue switches from blindside to openside flanker.

John Ryan is named among the replacements and is in line to make his 250th Munster appearance. In doing so, he will become just the third player to reach the landmark with only Stephen Archer (304) and Donncha O’Callaghan (268) playing more games for the province.

The game is Munster Rugby's annual charity match. Match programmes will be available for sale on the approach to the stadium turnstiles and also inside the stadium. Programmes are €6 and include a donation to Munster's nominated charities for this season, Aware and Limerick Youth Service.
